About Sehlahlana Trading & Projects
Sehlahlana Trading & Projects is a Level 1 BBBEE building and civil works contractor led by Thapelo, serving Polokwane and the wider Limpopo province since 2007. The company takes projects from design through to completion -- brickwork, plastering, concrete work, tiling, painting, paving, plumbing and electrical -- under one roof.
Since 2007, the team has completed 253 projects for 146 clients, with 365 site handovers along the way -- built on a philosophy of ethical, cost-effective civil and building work.

Do you supply the paint, or do I need to?
We can supply paint as part of the job or work with paint you've purchased. We'll advise on the best products for your surfaces and budget.
Do you supply your own cleaning products and equipment?
Yes, we bring all necessary products and equipment. Just let us know if you have any preferences or allergies to specific cleaning products.
Do you repair leaking roofs?
Yes, we repair all types of roof leaks — IBR, corrugated iron, tiles, and flat roofs. We provide a full inspection and written report before any work begins.
Do you do one-off jobs, or do you require a maintenance contract?
Both. We're happy to help with one-off repairs or to set up a regular maintenance schedule for your property.
Are your plumbers registered with PIRB?
Yes, our plumbers are qualified and registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) as required by South African law.
Can you install solar panels and backup power?
Yes, we design and install solar PV systems, battery storage, inverters, and generator transfer switches for load-shedding resilience.
Do solar systems work during load-shedding?
Yes — a grid-tied system with battery storage will keep your essential appliances running during load-shedding and power failures.
How long does exterior painting take?
It depends on the size of the property and weather conditions. We'll give you a realistic timeline in the quote.
Can you repair a geyser, or does it need to be replaced?
We'll inspect the geyser and give you an honest recommendation. Many faults — thermostats, elements, pressure valves — can be repaired at a fraction of replacement cost.
